Kids growing? Need a bigger bike? Want to get rid of your old bike? Need cash? Want to support the Community Food Cupboard?
If you are looking for a well-used bicycle then come to the Bike Swap at Battenkill Bicycles, 99 Bonnet Street, Manchester Center from 9:00 until 4:00 both days, May 20th & 21st.
Run like a tag sale, it’s a great way for folks to clean out the garage of old bikes or find a great deal on a used bike and benefit the Community Food Cupboard at the same time.
To participate, interested sellers should bring their sale items to Battenkill Bicycles at 9:00 am on Saturday morning May 21st to register and set pricing. All bikes must be in rideable condition. At 9:30 the public is welcome to stop by and browse through the bikes in search of that “perfect deal”. Sellers can pick up their cash or unsold bikes by 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 22nd at 4:00 pm.
There is no commission charged, however, successful sellers and buyers are asked to make a suitable cash donation, which goes in its entirety to the Community Food Cupboard.
So come on down! Staff will be on hand to help with any pricing or fit questions. Check out the sales inside the store on new bikes and any accessories you might need for your new used bike.
